2026 Junior Volunteer Application

Junior Volunteering is an experience you'll remember for the rest of your life. You will make friends, gain skills and may
be eligible for scholarships. However, the best part is that you'll be helping your community!

NOTE THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED ALL AT ONE TIME - THE WEBPAGE WILL TIME OUT AFTER A PERIOD OF INACTIVITY AND YOU WILL NEED TO START OVER AGAIN

The application will close on April 30, 2026 at Midnight.

We encourage you to apply to become a Junior Volunteer if you meet the following requirements:

You will be enrolled in high school for the 2026-2027 school year as a junior or senior
Have a current minimum (weighted) 3.0 GPA
Are able to commit to a weekly two-hour shift
Flexible to accept Monday through Sunday shifts
Can commit to program June 24, 2026-May 7, 2027

IMPORTANT DATES TO NOTE:

INTERVIEWS will be scheduled May 18 and 19, between 4:00 PM and 5:20 PM. You will receive notification of your interview date following a review of your completed application including submission of the required documents.

If you are accepted into the program, the following meetings are mandatory:

JUNIOR VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION - Wednesday, June 24, 9:00-11:30 AM
TRAINING - 2 days of training will be required between June 29-July 2 OR July 6-July 9

Availability and Placement

Flexibility in accepting 2-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday is essential. Volunteer shifts will be assigned starting July 13; earliest shift begins at 9:00 AM, latest shift ends at 6:30 PM. Can you commit to volunteering every week, taking into consideration your activities, sports, clubs, and vacations?

Please note that volunteers are required to have a Tuberculosis (TB) screening completed following acceptance into the program.
